Same story; different place

This week finds me again killing a couple hours waiting to go get my booth set up for the Pittsburgh Knit & Crochet Festival. This is my 10th year at this show and it is always interesting. It is cold this morning but is supposed to reach 50 degrees today and the rest of the weekend even milder temperatures. There is a chance of showers but at least it’s not cold. I’ll take what I can get. :-)

I had a bit of a distressing experience on Tuesday while I was laying over on the way between here and Wisconsin. I arrived Monday evening and unhitched my truck from my trailer because I needed to do some shopping for supplies the next day. I was driving on to Pittsburgh on Wednesday morning. So, I parked my truck side by side Monday night. Tuesday I did my shopping and towards evening it was supposed to rain so I went out my truck (next to the trailer still) to get stuff from the back, when I looked over and saw the back door of my trailer standing ajar and the padlock lying on the ground! Thank the Lord I went out at that point and saw it before the rain damaged my inventory. Also fortunately my contents have no street value so they didn’t steal or vandalize any of my stuff.

However, they did damage my trailer to this extent and I was in quandary how to fix it with virtually no tools. The hotel manager was willing to help out but the maintenance man was gone for the night. My husband saved the day by suggesting I look for a trailer sales/repair place near by. Thank the Lord, there was one less than 3 miles from where I was! There were open the next morning at 9 am which was fine, I only had a short 170 miles to go to get to Pittsburgh so I could leave as late as check out time, 12pm, and be fine. God bless those guys at Wiliams Trailer Sales  , they fixed me up in less than half an hour and I was on my way. They installed a new lock hasp and I decided it was a good time to upgrade my security while I was at it. :-)

I have worked on my Sprossling some but don’t have a new picture at the moment. I will update that and show you my booth here when I get back. Later!
