Our hand crafted wood Shawl and Hair Sticks are made in our work shop from domestic and exotic hardwoods. We usually have in stock a selection of several different choices such as; Mahogany, Cherry, Purple Heart, Yellow Heart, Maple, Walnut, as well as others. They are finely sanded and polished through multiple processes to insure they won’t catch on your garment or hair. We use a boiled linseed oil finish to bring out the natural color and grain of the wood.
Our Shawl and Hair Stick is about 6 inches in length. They work well as a pin for shawls or scarfs, and are also perfect for a closure for sweaters. They make fantastic hair sticks. The slight wave of the prongs helps them stay in place whether you are using them for hair or garments.
The photos are representative of what we have currently in stock. The pin you receive will be picked at random from current stock. Due to the hand made processes and natural materials used each has it’s own unique character. Please include any special requests as to order selection in the Order Comments during checkout.
