Quite a bit has changed since my last post, hasn’t it? Winter has decided to make a last ditch effort at reminding us of its existence. Just a couple days after I wrote how we had the windows open and it even was in the low 80’s, cold weather blasted in and hasn’t quite given up yet. To make matters worse, for me at least, I am considerably farther north for next two weeks and a couple days.
As I told you last time, my first festival of the year, is the Madison Knitter’s Guild annual winter Knit-In. I arrived on Thursday afternoon and spent most of Friday setting up and restocking the booth. There was an evening preview last night as well, from 8-9:30, so it was a long day. It is good to be back out doing what I love but at the same time my heart is back home in Nashville missing my people, but I am trying to keep my mind on my work so I can keep it together and not be a teary eyed mess for the customers. :-)
Here’s my work station I took last night, where I am writing this post from this morning too actually. Here’s hoping for a busy day in the market, which is opening momentarily so I had better close.
Before I go though, here’s a quick shot of the first sleeve on my Sprossling , I finished before I left home. It’s the only knitting I brought with me so I may even finish it before I get home.
