Description
Ode to the Butterfly shawl is a surprisingly easy lace shawl pattern that is written for fingering weight yarn.
Materials: Knitting Notions Classic Merino Bamboo yarn or Classic Merino Superwash Sock yarn: (2) 100g skeins
Notes: This triangle shawl pattern is knit from the top down. The original stitch pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and has no lace knitting on the wrong side. NOTE: THIS PATTERN HAS CHARTED INSTRUCTIONS ONLY. ALL ARE REFORMATTED IN EASY TO READ SIZES.
Finished Dimensions: 80″ across top edge and 34″ down the center back
Yarn Requirements: 810-900 yards
Gauge: 16 stitches = 4” in pattern stitch, washed and lightly blocked (gauge is not crucial but the fabric should have a nice drape)
Needles: 24″ or 32″ size 5-7 US circular or size needed to achieve gauge
